The Wonderland Show held its debut event last weekend as a two-day show (28-29 January) amidst praise and enthusiasm from exhibiting brands and visitors alike. Housed in the unique venue of The Vinyl Factory located in Soho in central London, the show had a contemporary, trendy and informal atmosphere which proved conducive to business.
Buyers and visitors to the Show included independent shops and stores from the UK and larger store groups such as John Lewis & Partners, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Fenwick and leading e-commerce retailers such as asos.com. The brand offer included a solid showing of established brands such as Triumph, Naturana, PrimaDonna, Aubade, Miraclesuit, Hanro, DKNY, Schiesser and Wolford (lingerie and legwear) alongside smaller designer brands (Noblesse Oblige, Samantha Chang, Pure Chemistry…) and brands debuting at a trade show for the first time in the UK: Evelyn & Bobbie, Peachaus, Scarlett Gasque and Gingerlilly.
Jackie Upton of indie Sheen Uncovered was delighted with this first event:
This is what we have been waiting for – for such a long time. The Show looks beautiful and contemporary and the mix of brands and product is fantastic – it feels new, exciting and fresh.”
Tanya Bulloch, General Manager of Naturana UK, commented: “We were not sure what to expect but decided from the beginning that we needed to back this event, so desperately needed for our industry. And it has delivered on its promise – from a relatively small exhibition space we have made new contacts and it has been 100% worthwhile for us. We will be back!.”

Lucy Osborne and Nicky Clayton of PBA who instigated and organised the event commented:
We have been astounded by the positivity, support and enthusiasm towards Wonderland and that was reflected in the calibre and cross section of brands and buyers who attended the show. It is evident that this is what London has been missing!”
