Texworld and Apparel Sourcing Paris have put together an exceptional line-up for this first edition of 2024 (5-7 February): with 1,260 companies taking part in the two shows, it will surpass the previous record set in February 2019. Once again this year, international suppliers to the global fashion and apparel industry will be demonstrating the central role of the European markets for the fashion sector. It is also a reminder of the importance for buyers of this essential point of contact and exchange for developing their Spring-Summer 2025 collections. Spread symmetrically over the two levels of Hall 7 (7.2 and 7.3) Texworld and Apparel Sourcing will bring together the bulk of the world’s supply of fabrics, materials, accessories and finished products for the apparel industry.
TRENDS – THE FUTURE OF FASHION
Organic Shapes – Discover the beauty of organized disorder, deliberate imperfection, and creative arbitrariness in this captivating trend. Our exhibitors will showcase fabrics with organic patterns, unique textures, all in palettes of cool neutrals and light, evoking light and shades of orange-yellow.
Movement – Immerse yourself in movement and softness with fabrics inspired by waves, graceful curves, and a meditative atmosphere. Shades of blues and greens blend with young pale tones, creating a soothing contrast with touches of dark and warm colours, such as reds and browns.
Contrast – all manner of greens, interpersed with blues and purples – the surreal meets nature!
Fun – Let yourself be carried away by the joy of innovation with fabrics designed to surprise, test, and create an imaginary world. Dive into a vibrant color palette, from pinks to aquamarine hues, from oranges to bubblegum and peach fuzz tones (the Pantone colour of the year 2024).
Vision, trends and outlook
True to its mission as a trendsetter, Texworld Evolution Paris will be doing its utmost to provide visitors with perspectives on market developments and the direction of demand. New for 2024, each show will have its own trend area – the two trends forums will be grouped together on level 7.3 and will unveil the most innovative samples which are closely following the trends – in addition to Highlight areas, on level 7.2, where a wider array of samples of garments and raw materials selected by the shows’ artistic directors, Louis Gérin and Grégory Lamaud, will be presented to better assist the buyers in their selection. The Denim Village and the Elite sector, which brings together exhibitors selected for their performance in terms of quality, competitiveness, responsiveness and logistics, will both have their own Highlight areas, as will Texworld and Apparel Sourcing. As part of the spring-summer collection, certain sectors such as silk will be highlighted at the entrance to hall 7.3, under the nave bathed in natural light. Last but not least, the T-Club has been completely refurbished to encourage professional exchanges.
This year’s trade fairs will focus on Texpertise Econogy, which combines the concepts of ecology and economic development. This concept is now the framework for the Messe Frankfurt group’s approach to its Texpertise Network
worldwide. This principle will guide Te xworld Evolution Paris in its approach to sustainable development and structure the sourcing methods of its sourcing platform. The Econogy Finder, that will be launched for this year’s show, will
enable visitors to list and access all suppliers of sustainably produced textiles via an online directory (about 80 companies). The booths of exhibitors whose activities in terms of sustainable supply chains, materials and processes as well
as strategy and innovation have been verified by a third-party organization and will also be marked with visible Econogy symbols.
