HartiSWIM is a brand new lifestyle brand last year by Tessa Hartmann, CBE, entrepreneur and TV personality. The swimwear designs were created from her husband’s paintings and the wearable art label was born. The brand is designed to be multi-purpose with statement one-pieces, bikinis, rash guards, kaftans, skirts and silk kimono many of which can be worn from beach to street and at any time of the day.
Not just another swimwear label Tessa has ensured that the swimwear is sustainable made from recycled plastic bottles retrieved from the ocean (Repreve) but also offers sun and chlorine protection and superb handle. Their debut collection was launched at retail at Voisins in Jersey and now Tessa is keen to expand their exposure throughout the UK. Recent news is that her brand has been certified that every swimwear piece is created from reusing 13 plastic bottles.
Tessa comments: “We have created HartiSWIM for the women who regardless of their size or age are invested in glamour with a conscience. ..we hope our customers will collect our swimwear like they collect art, we will encourage them to buy less but buy better as our luxury products are made to stand the test of time.“ Tessa is working alongside industry veteran, David Finlayson, to fully promote the brand.
Tessa will be on the panel at Retail Insights (Saturday 23rd July) talking all things sustainable, so if you want to find out more, all visitors are invited.
