MAGIC Bodyfashion is proud to announce their new sustainability program, MAGIC Cares, which involves economic, environmental, and social projects and goals. At the moment two sustainable collections are available – the Body Hugging Bamboo range made of 78% sustainable, nature-friendly Tanboocel™ bamboo fibres, and the Sustainable Luxury Slimmers collection, made of 79% sustainable REPREVE fibre, using 100% recycled materials, including post-consumer plastic bottles and pre-consumer waste.
2020 for MAGIC Bodyfashion is a year to focus on environmental sustainability too, with goals to reduce the use of plastic, as well as starting to have paperless meetings and replacing the majority of printed marketing materials with digital versions. Lastly, they are focusing on reducing CO2 emissions by starting MAGIC Bike Day at the office, as well as encouraging more e-meetings.
MAGIC Bodyfashion is known as the ‘By Women, for Women’ brand, which is why they aim to support organisations like Pink Ribbon. Last year the brand launched a special edition ‘Pink Ribbon Comfort Bra’ and continue to donate € 1 to the Pink Ribbon (NL) organisation with each of the special edition bra sold.
And last but not least, internally social sustainability is very important at the MAGIC Bodyfashion headquarters. This year the company started an employee volunteering program at an elderly home, joined the Meatless Monday movement and are currently working on building a MAGIC Bee garden outside of the MAGIC Bodyfashion office, where each employee is going to plant bee-friendly flowers.
