Jockey is excited to announce its first-ever branded collaboration with Urban Outfitters, featuring bras, underwear and boxers co-designed with Urban Outfitters and inspired by intimate styles of the 1980s. Prompted by a much-loved inspiration image of throwback Jockey packaging, Urban Outfitters reached out to the iconic underwear brand to collaborate on a product line together, and from there the two brands worked side-by-side to produce the capsule collection.
The full 5-piece assortment includes high-rise bikini briefs, Y-front hipster briefs, matching sports bra, cropped tees, and borrowed-from-the-boys boxer shorts with prices ranging from £12 to £20. The products come in bright summer colours, with an overdyed colour technique conceived in UO’s colour room.
“The Jockey + Urban Outfitters collaboration is great opportunity for Jockey to present its modern, on-trend designs while leveraging Urban Outfitters’ dynamic creativity and vibrant environments,” said Mark Fedyk, president of North American wholesale, domestic licensing and chief merchandise officer. “Jockey is a recognized authority on women’s underwear and Urban Outfitters’ desire for a capsule collection inspired by our designs of the ‘80s made this a perfect partnership.”
