For the past two decades, The Bra Fitting Course developed and run by Lindsey, has been at the forefront of professional bra fitting education. Lindsey Brown brings over 20 years of industry experience spanning lingerie retail, design, manufacture, research, bespoke consultancy, lecturing, medical professional training, and specialist bra fitting education.
Lindsey teaches students how to fit bras by eye, without the use of a tape measure, enabling fitters to assess shape, support, and comfort holistically rather than relying on outdated sizing formulas.
Her distinctive non-tape-measure method was created during Lindsey Brown’s Master’s Research Degree, where she specialised in bra design and the compression and support of breast tissue.
Lindsey and Claire Franks, founder of Intimate Apparel Consultancy (IAC) are also proudly celebrating a long-standing professional collaboration. The collaboration began over 15 years ago when Claire invited Lindsey to present her specialist bra fitting training to overseas clients from the UAE, allowing participants to experience both tape-measure and non-tape-measure fitting methodologies.
