HartiSWIM Makes Grammy Awards Debut

by Underlines

Sustainable wearable art brand Harti made its Grammy Awards debut as UK singer, author and television personality Tallia Storm appeared as a red carpet host at the Recording Academy’s most high-profile night, wearing a custom, hand-crafted gown by the emerging label.

A leading digital voice from the UK, Tallia Storm is also recognised as one of Britain’s most high-profile TikTok creators and social media stars, bringing a global audience to her work across music, fashion and broadcast media.

Designed and produced entirely in-house, the bespoke gown fused fashion, contemporary art and sustainability. Featuring metres of hand-applied ostrich feathers, the piece incorporated original artwork painted by Tallia’s father who paints under the name ‘Harti’, transforming the garment into a one-of-a-kind wearable canvas. Every element was handmade by HartiSWIM’s studio artisans.

I wanted to wear something unique, original and sustainable, and what better opportunity than the Grammys to wear our family brand, Harti, The artwork was painted by my father, and my mother has created a range of sustainable swimwear and bespoke atelier pieces, so this gown is incredibly special to me. I’m beyond excited and so grateful for this incredible opportunity, to be on the red carpet, seeing so many of my heroes up close and personal, truly feels like a dream.”

HartiSWIM launched at Miami Swim Week The Shows in May 2025, quickly drawing attention for its statement sustainable pop-art swimwear and bold visual language. Operating as a creative collective, the brand designs, and creates everything internally, while also creating original music content, and an unconventional but deliberate extension of its artistic identity.
Sustainability and ocean conservation are central to the label’s mission, aligning craftsmanship with responsible production. Their swimwear is made of recycled plastic bottles from the ocean. The brand has already been nominated for two major retail awards by UK fashion authority Drapers, underscoring its rapid momentum.
The label is creatively led by Tessa Hartmann CBE, a fashion industry veteran with more than three decades of experience, for whom HartiSWIM represents her debut independent brand.
