This Thursday 15 January, Studio Lingerie is collaborating with a national campaign to promote how a professional bra fitting can make all the difference to how women carry themselves and feel about themselves. Live mannequins will be appearing in the King Street window, turning heads on Southwell’s high street and encouraging women to pop in, get fitted, and celebrate their bodies just as they are.
The mannequins are Tina Boden and Rachel Peru, co-founders of AWWA (Accepting Who We Are) and their visit to Southwell is part of AWWA’s campaign to persuade women to discover the difference the right bra in the right size can make to their posture, comfort, and confidence.
Almost 40% of women are unable to remember the last time they were properly fitted for a bra, and 80% are wearing the wrong size. Our team at Studio Lingerie in Southwell are doing their bit to inspire Nottinghamshire women to be proud of who they are – and what they can look like.”
Studio Lingerie owner Julie Robb

We want women to feel seen, supported, and accepted. This campaign is about reminding women that they deserve to feel good in their own skin – and sometimes that starts with something as everyday as a well-fitting bra.”
Tina Boden, Co-Founer of AWWA
Thursday 15th January, 11am – 2pm. Free fittings, friendly advice, and refreshments provided at Studio Lingerie & Resort, 8 King Street, Southwell.
