Splash Paris sizzles this weekend!

by Underlines

Splash Paris sizzled in 30 degrees+ heat on the opening day – endless delays at Eurostar to get there being the norm but the Show did not disappoint!

Cooling off at Splash Paris

The favourites were there (Heidi Klein, Lenny Niemeyer, Greek Archaic Kori Claret Showroom – PITUSA,Cleonie, Cristiano Marcheli, Peony with newcomer EllBlue making its debut this season) alongside brands showing for the first time: Lace The Label, Maku, Mariella B Green, Lack of Color, Natacha & Vanessa, Dream Catcher and Vitamin A.

Mona Mourad, Founder of Karma on the Rocks with Paul Alger of the UKFT

The Show got off to an early and busy start. Mona Mourad, Founder of the Karma on the Rocks label, commented: “From opening this morning we have been busy all day. It is a fabulous show for us bringing in the customers we need to see.” And admittedly although there seem to be less British visitors this season, this was more than counterbalanced by buyers from all across Europe and the Americas.

In terms of trends there was less bling this year – jewellery adornments and decorations were more subtle and delicate than previously and there was real coral as a feature on styles by Mariella B Green with her sustainable lines.

Bond-Eye
Sea Level

Steve Philpott of the Australian Bond-Eye Group who were showing both Bond-Eye Swimwear and Sea Level, commented: “It is great to be back at Splash. We love Splash as it is a great meeting place for international retailers and we just love the energy of this trade show.” The Splash Show continues until Monday 30th June 4.00pm.
