Founded in 1901 in Chicago by Henry Williamson, Gossard has a rich heritage in lingerie. Originally specialising in corsetry, Williamson was inspired by French actress Sarah Bernhardt to create lingerie that was both functional and alluring — American at heart yet infused with French charm.
