Source Fashion – Impressive Line-up this February

by Underlines

Source Fashion, Europe’s leading responsible sourcing show takes place next month at Olympia London from 18-20 February 2025 and presents an exciting line-up of British and international resources (from over 25 countries) in a number of sectors – yarns and fabrics, ready to wear garments, trims and fixtures, accessories, packaging and design & technology services.

Their popular Catwalk Shows take place 3 times a day – where a collection of entirely sustainable garments will be curated and brought together to flaunt the materials of the future. A key aspect to the event are their lively debates and seminars which this year take place as the Catwalk Content Stage (tangible insight from thought leaders, retail case studies and panel discussions) and Source Debates Stage (the industry’s most pressing questions in sourcing and sustainable fashion as interactive sessions) – see line-up and speakers below.

On recent figures 1,400 visitors attend the event (with 83% of those being top tier ownership and/or management) and strict controls are in place to ensure that exhibitors have proven their sustainability and responsibility credentials. All exhibitors are required to have had a recent audit from Sedex or a recognisable audit institution. This gives visitors  confidence that they will only be meeting manufacturers and suppliers that have responsible business practices.

A new floor layout this season will see exhibitors and resources edited by product category incorporating Womenswear (including intimates, night/loungewear and swimwear); Menswear; Footwear, Accessories, Source Luxury and Technology & Services.

The Show champions UK suppliers, be it that some of these are smaller in size to global brands. Suzanne Ellingham, Event Director, commented:

The UK is recognised as a centre for excellence in fabrics and textiles. Furthermore, it is one of the leaders in drawing attention to responsible manufacturing. Small clothing firms proudly take their place next to global brands at Source Fashion. In the UK there is a space for all and for those looking to manufacture close to home, every company in this space is a must see.”

Amongst the British exhibitors are National Weaving (woven and printed labels); The Natural Fibre Company (award-winning British yarn manufacturer), Circular Inc (at the forefront of focused upcycling), first time exhibitor Anezay (supplying to fashion brands), Global Leic (garment producers in women, mens, childrenswear and swimwear), Dee Kay Knitwear (wholesale knitwear producer), Bulldog Clothing (streetwear focused manufacturers supporting young designers and established brands) and Modern Star Silk (vertical silk apparel, accessory and homeware manufacturer).
