Andreas Lindemann, CEO of the German underwear company, Schiesser, and member of the Executive Management of the globally active Delta Galil Industries Ltd has informed the company’s boards that he will step down from his roles at the companies from the end of May 2025.
The past six and a half years have been extremely challenging for Schiesser, but also for my management team and myself due to the restrictions imposed during the COVID pandemic and the consequences of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Despite weak consumer demand, disruptions in the supply chains, cost increases and a large number of insolvencies in the retail sector, we succeeded in realigning the Schiesser organisation, generating growth and significantly increasing profitability. I would like to express my sincere thanks for the support I have received from my management team and the workforce over the past six and a half years.”
