When Other Worlds Whisper – a new solo exhibition by contemporary British artist, Rosie Emerson, will take place from 20-26th September featuring selected pieces from couture lingerie design label, Shell Belle Couture. Organised by Smithson Projects who are a creative project consultancy and online platform art collectors, showcasing international contemporary artists from the UK, Europe and the USA.
Emerson embraces a spectrum of techniques including photopolymer etching, monoprint and cyanotope, cominging and transforming traditional printmaking processes, incoporating natural materials and hand finished elements to achieve her unique signature aesthetic. Her work has been recently featured in Harper’s Bazaar and previously in Vogue, AnOther Magazine and The Sunday Times Style.
The wonderfully feminine, gilded and ethereal quality to her work meant a natural link up with Michele Blenkinsopp-Guild, Founder of Shell Belle Couture with particular attention to signature piece, the Alice Kimono.
The exhibition will be held at 17 Midland Road, Old Market, Bristol BS2 0JT with free admission.
