The award-winning series ‘The Crown’ will premiere today (16th November) for a sixth series on Netflix. The opening episode provides an exciting surprise for fans of the Gottex swimwear brand as the actress Elizabeth Debicki, in the role of Princess Diana, will appear in a swimsuit from the Gottex brand.
The famous leopard print swimsuit with collar strap became a luxury collector’s item after Princess Diana was captured in dozens of paparazzi photographs wearing it, while on vacation with her partner, Dod Al-Fayed and a few weeks before the accident in which she was killed.

The swimsuit was made especially for her after a meeting between the Princess and Mrs Leah Gottlieb, first lady of Israeli fashion and the founder of Gottex, at the Gottex studio.
Princess Diana and Mrs Gottlieb recognised Princess Diana’s fondness for swimwear and her courage to wear bold cuts and unconventional prints designed this leopard print suit which was instantly identified with her. The creators of ‘The Crown’ approached Gottex to sew the swimsuit for them. But the good news is that Gottex has decided to release a limited edition of the iconic swimsuit, called of course ‘Diana’ and it will be available in two shapes – collar tying (as the original) or with two straps and V-neckline.
