Asahi Kasei celebrates its 100th anniversary focusing on key brands ROICA™, ECOSENSOR™ and RespiGard™ during the ISPO Munich fair running 28-30 November 2022. Showing in the ISPO Brandnew area, the company has announced a European sales office in Dusseldort for ROICA™.

ROICA™ premium stretch fibre has an interactive booth inviting visitors to explore its evolution path where sustainability and wellbeing values are represented – from the final sportswear outfits back to the fabrics first and then the yarn.  On display are a series of collaborations for the contemporary wardrobe with leading brands.

Stellawear – a zero-waste innovation fusing underwear, swimwear and shapewear that can be worn any time, any place. Crafted by CIFRA from sustainable ECONYL® regenerated nylon and ROICA™ V550 degradable certified stretch yarn (UV tested, safe in chlorine and water).

Wolford’s Aurora line holding two certificates Cradle to Cradle Certified™ at Gold Level both the biological and technical cycles contain ROICA™ V550 either in blend with ECONYL® regenerated nylon made by Aquafil or Lenzing Modal® and infinito® by Lauffenmuehle.

Amongst these developments is the new generation of clothing dedicated to wellbeing, travelwear and athleisure made with CIFRA exclusive and patented technology (base layers, tops, leggings and jumpsuits are made with natural yarns, or recycle pre- and post-consumer yarns in combination with ROICA™ EF).
