Overture Lingerie is a London-based boutique brand specialising in lingerie for small band fuller cup women who struggle to find perfectly fitting, yet elegant lingerie. Hand-crafted with the highest quality Italian silk and custom designed Swiss embroidery, the first two collections Espresso and Affogatto include bras (26 – 34 F – HH), knickers (6 – 16), thongs (6 – 16) and a silk robe. Lingerie sets are available in two colours: elegant beige and sensual black.
The brainchild of Edyta Lajdorf – a classical pianist and UCL MSc Entrepreneurship Graduate, the Overture Lingerie online store launched on October 24th. Over the coming months Overture will be exhibiting at a number of designer trade shows such as Blickfang in Zurich, Switzerland on November 18th – 20th.
Overture products are made with 4 core values in mind: ethically sourced, zero waste, ethically shipped and giving back. All items are hand-crafted with fabrics made in Europe by a team of highly-skilled seamstresses. Overture will also be donating 5% of yearly profits to Breast Cancer Now and Against Breast Cancer charities while also supporting their bra recycling scheme.
The fewer distance materials have to travel, the smaller the carbon footprint is. That’s why nearly all (95%) of my fabrics come from Europe. Sourcing fabrics from the EU also guarantees ethical employment, facilitates transparency and keeps the manufacturers in line with EU emission laws.
