The international swimwear show, MaredaMare, held last weekend (23-25 July) in the magnificent venue of Fortezza da Basso, Florence, reported attendance up again to pre-pandemic levels and with the largest ever brand representation. Buyers attended from 32 countries as far as Thailand, Korea, the USA and of course Europe. Collaborations with ICEX (Spanish body of Iberian companies) and ABIT (the Brazilian textile and clothing association) has ensured the participation of the best brands of the two countries and the ICE Agency has ensured a more rounded international attendance.
There was one large fashion show under the themes of Fasten Seat Belt, Summer Jam, Back to the Future (new designers) with a specific show for Spanish fashion and for AFS International (David Beachwear, David Swim, Lovers, Miradonna, Vacanze Italiane, Vitamins and Iconique) marking the 70th anniversary of the company in July 2022.
