Four focus trends – Fant-Arthic, Dream Planet, Parade and Modern Goth
Fant-Arthic – arctic colours in shades of silver grey, powder blue and warm white to gold and khaki are reminiscent of lunar tones. Detailed graphic prints with decorative designs set in metallic geometries and enveloped in the restraint of Japanese art – mysterious and conceptual. Chine florals with streaked effect decline (as opposed to prints). Feather weight architectures on tone-on-tone constructions and weaves.
Dream Planet – sand, rust, clay. ochre and a touch of dense red feature in fabrics dressed in the warm and enveloping colours of the earth. Textural aspects project an interspatial journey to the red planet (Mars) with iron oxide-rich surface rocks translated into hues, prints and decors that allow glimpses of nature. Against neutral tones, a nude look is created for hyper-feminine and minimalist lingerie.
Parade – intense and passionate hues eluding realism with lavish theatrical setting of prints and moire optical effects, typical of the silk world. A quintessentially feminine, quirky and eye-catching palette of pink and red hues in harmonious blends of white and red – romance, beauty and sophistication. There are unusual animalier patterns enriched with ornamental and calligraphic decorations.
Interweaving black and white geometries mingle in a nocturnal mood that is reflected in a dark, shadowy, gothic aesthetic. Prints that bring back looks from history, of fantasy with huge peals, bangles, precious stones and even the evolution of medieval damasks – a season of punk-rock vibes with hypnotic and sexy lingerie. Brown to jet black, optical white to ash and graphite to purple grey are the embodiment of the theme.
