Fruity Booty, created in 2018 through the creative collaboration of Hattie Tennant and Minna Bunting, has just launched its first ever swimwear collection. The company which is based in Soho will show the collection at its 4 day pop-up shop in 19 Greek Street, London, from today to 19th June.
An ode to a long-awaited summer and inspired by their own memories of balmy summer holidays, Fruity Booty begin with The Corazon Collection. ‘Corazon’; meaning ‘the heart’, ‘spirit’, ‘love and compassion’ in Spanish, is a collection that sets out to embody the hot summer energy we’ve all been craving and is the first of several sets in the brand’s swimwear offering. Vivid gingham bikinis in nostalgic seersucker feature plunging necklines, wired support and a romantic back tie, while a white signature set incorporates a sweetheart centrepiece. Shot on the beach in Athens, the sun-drenched imagery celebrates the hope of much-needed adventure and experiencing life in full colour once again.
A conscious, sustainable and accessible lingerie and intimates’ brand, Fruity Booty create young, fresh, playful product and carve a niche in a new middle ground for a market too often split between the highly-sexual or highly-functional. The garments are European made (Portugal).
