It’s time to reclaim the workplace, whether that may be at home or IRL, in show-stopping strapping and lavish lace. Shatter the glass ceiling feeling your feminine power in sumptuous silks and exquisite embroidery.
Agent Provocateur’s Creative Director, Sarah Shotton, pushes fearless femininity to skyscraper heights for Spring Summer 2022. “For SS22, our Provocateur wants to be seen and heard. Hot, powerful and in charge, she wants lingerie to match her scintillating style whilst complimenting her playful nature. Shot by Venetia Scott, Hot Desking showcases a female-gaze, hyperreal celebration of successful women at the top of their game who wear AP to bring joy to their lives whether they are working from home or in the office: holding their own, rewriting the rules of the boardroom, breaking traditions and boundaries and loving every minute”, she said.
The new sensual collection elevates and updates the power suit silhouette with hyper glamour and signature AP design expertise, showcasing classic cuts such as the ever-romantic balconette style bra and intricate crystal detailing. High-leg and high-waist briefs are back and complemented with lavish marabou feathered trims, whilst luscious laces and elastic straps add a touch of excitement, glamour and energy to your everyday. The bold colour palette is awash with candy shop fuchsia pinks, pralines and sands, pink leopard prints, elegant black, contrasting acid rainbow bright of cobalt blues, sunflower yellows, reds and pastel shades of cornflower blue, mint greens and baby pinks.
Key shapes for the season include signature balconette cuts for dreamy romantic styles featured on Rozlyn, whilst Lindie and Lorna offer peep demi-cups for a more mischievous mood. Zanah introduces the new body shapes with naughty cut-outs, structured cups, and lace panels, whilst Deedee showcases iridescent foil overlay. Fan favourite Lorna returns for a summer romance in spectrum of new colours – sunflower yellow, sky blue, red, rainbow or wedding white dotty – as well as new elegant black and praline lace with Austrian embroidery for an understated look.
Other highlights include Molly which returns in baby blue punctuated with hot pink lace, and new girls on the block Donnie, Claira and Lotie showcasing embroidered cherries and lipstick kisses decorating the sheer tulle. Yara makes a dramatic debut in shades of black, praline and pink, while whisper-soft tulle finds new elegance with Mirabelle in black. Saskiah’s high-necked, high-fashion restraints contrast with ultra-romantic French Leavers lace, whilst Cassius offers a racy fishnet design in cobalt blue with titillating cut-out details.
