Just as the DNA of SCHIESSER, the ‘Cycle of Life’ collection for Autumn/Winter 2022 is in tune with nature and its cycles. Four phases define its life-cycle: Embryo/Heritage, Awakening Senses, Growth and finally Rebirth/Xmas. All lines draw their inspiration from the cycle of life and respect it by making sustainability a cornerstone.
Embryo/Heritage
The focus is placed on quality and authenticity, expressed through minimalist aesthetics and subtle colourways. The colour palette includes white, cream, natural, brown and a soft peach tone, while patterns and designs are also subtle and include solids, melange and minimalist prints. For men, there is a fashion daywear series with recycled polyamide, a Tactel series, as well as a Mix+Relax selection made of organic cotton and fine interlock.
For ladies, ‘Embryo’ includes tried and tested basic daywear such as the organic cotton series 95/5 and Modal Essentials as well as the fashion series Seamless Recycled Rib and Tencel Lace in new colours. The feminine and elegant Glam Lace series consists of three bra and three matching slip styles with lace made partly from recycled polyamide and dyed in an energy-saving way. The Mix Lounge range includes new combinations of hoodies and trousers in high-quality sweat with TENCEL™ Lyocell, as well as modern high waist sweat trousers with a wide elastic at the waist.
Awakening Senses
Awakening Senses is like a feast for the senses: shades of pink, green and blue awaken the desire for novelty, with cheerful patterns and designs. Plains, block stripes and minimal prints are the focus of this range, which features delicate melanges, large floral patterns in a hand-drawn look and trendy minimal prints.
For the ladies, Awakening Senses expresses itself in the form of cool hoody-pant combos made of sweat fabric in TENCEL™ Lyocell. The Mix Lounge pieces are made from TENCEL™ Lyocell, organic cotton, or fleece, and guarantee sustainable relaxation. New, modern and casual nightwear with dropped shoulders, wide cuffs, oversized cuts, batwing sleeves and high waist, as well as wide-legged pants, are available in a Pima cotton-modal blend, while pyjamas in modal or soft cotton satin make for soft nights.
Gents can look forward to new Mix Lounge styles such as a jacket with front zip, shirts with raglan sleeves and long sweat trousers with straight legs or cuffs in dark blue. Premium pyjamas made of special materials, with minimalist prints and striking vertical stripes make hearts beat faster.
Growth
Growth marks the culmination of the cycle for the time being, expressed in shades of red, fudge brown, grey, dark blue and gold accents. Patterns and designs become bolder and include animal prints and checks. The focus of this collection phase is on contemporary nightwear, homewear and loungewear.
The ladies’ line focuses on warming Mix+Relax styles available in partly recycled soft sweat material, fleece, as well as shirts in high-quality pure Supreme Green Cotton. The Selected Premium series features pyjamas and lounge dresses in a high-quality lyocell needlepoint, which is comfortable, elastic and classy. Pyjamas feature pinstripes, sleepshirts come in a relaxed shirt look and are made from TENCEL™ x REFIBRA™ branded Lyocell fibres from Lenzing.
Rebirth, Xmas & Xmas Family
The fourth and last quarter of the cycle is Rebirth / Xmas, which presents the most sombre and festive of the four colour palettes, consisting of black, burgundy, dark blue and cream. Patterns and designs include block stripes, large-scale bud motifs as well as Xmas motifs and Swedish patterns. Xmas gift sets for women and men with wintery designs meet fine rib sets and super soft fleece pyjamas, as well as cuddly socks already gift-wrapped with an elegant ribbon.
Baby, Kids & Teens
The daywear for girls comes in the colours peach, pink and blue, as well as with stripes or with prints of cute forest animals, polar bears and beavers, while the boys get to play in blue, green and grey. The unisex line “Natural Love” for babies is made from 100 percent organic cotton, cotton-modal and an extra-cuddly wool-modal quality. For nightwear, the Natural Love line features organic cotton and TENCEL™ Lyocell.
Teens love the tried-and-tested multipack ranges, including 95/5 and Personal Fit, which are launched in new colours like cream, pink, peach, anthracite and grey melange to match the ‘Cycle of Life’ colour scheme. In nightwear, SCHIESSER focusses on pyjamas for teens with organic cotton and TENCEL™ Lyocell blends in plain colours or with fun prints of cool polar bears, snowboarders, hearts and dogs.
REVIVAL Fashion Collection
The Revival women’s collection in cream, pink, aubergine, grey and black also fits into the phases of the ‘Cycle of Life’. The new Dalia yoga line includes regular and high waist shorts, yoga bras and tops in a high-quality, stretchy interlock with Supima Cotton. A special highlight of the Revival collection are series Lena, Sarah and Sonia, offering a selection of modern trouser fits such as flared trousers, tight cuffs and wide flared legs in sustainable materials (wool, lyocell and organic cotton).
The colour palette of the men’s Revival collection is also based on the ‘Cycle of Life’ phases and comes in white, dark green, aubergine, dark blue, grey and black. Special accents are set by the Hannes series in 100% organic cotton, the cult classic Karl-Heinz in fine rib quality, and the lounge series Vincent in soft sweat material in organic cotton and lyocell. SCHIESSER will also be presenting some new styles such as a long-sleeved jumper, a hoody with a zip and lounge trousers with a drawstring waistband.
