Havaianas and Oreo have a lot in common – they have a legion of passionate fans, they are a success wherever they go, and everyone wants to have them. That’s why they got together to create a unique, limited and beyond special capsule collection. The model Havaianas + Oreo TOP, in addition to having a chocolate scent on its strip, features a super fun print – all that on a sole that mimics the layers of an Oreo biscuit. The Havaianas x Oreo capsule collection will also include an Oreo-shaped earphone case and socks with the iconic biscuit printed on them.
“Oreo is a fun and upbeat brand and that has a strong match with Havaianas. This is a super special and innovative collab, which borrows proprietary elements from both brands, such as the flip-flops strips having a chocolate scent and the sole layers imitating the black and white layers of an Oreo cookie and its filling. Not to mention Oreo’s Biscuit-shaped earphone case displaying Havaianas’s print and texture. I’m sure it is going to be a success!,” says Fernanda Romano, Alpargatas’s Chief Marketing Officer.
To release the news to fans, the brands’ strategy was to announce a mock wedding on their social networks, which started to be communicated on September 4th. “Havaianas is totally in tune with Oreo and we believe in the strength of this collab to the point that we came up with the idea of playing with the marriage of both brands. We are extremely happy with the results of the collection!
