British handmade luxury lingerie and nightwear designer Emma Harris has unveiled 3 new collections for SS22, featuring a combination of new designs and stunning new colours in bestselling lines. The highlight of the season is Veronique, available in blue haze, a sophisticated new silk collection of timeless and ornate designs. The collection includes a kimono-style robe with decorative lace over the back neck, shoulders and hem, carefully positioned as a flow of flowers; a slip cut on the bias to give a soft, figure-skimming fit, with three bold pleats falling under the bust and lace flowers under the bust, down the sides and at the hem.
The Veronique collection also includes a straight leg pyjama trouser, decoratively embellished with appliqued lace at the hems; a plunge bra available up to FF cup, styled into an art nouveau design and decorated with appliqued lace and silk shoulder straps. Last but not least, Veronique features an art nouveau style thong decorated with appliqued lace and a single flower on the back for extra design interest, and a brief decorated with soft mesh and appliqued lace at the back.
A favourite with Emma Harris fans, Melody returns in an elegant oyster shade for SS22. Inspiration from Old Hollywood echoes throughout this collection, with dramatically tapered shoulder straps, diamond-cut lines and a vintage-inspired lace intertwined with a soft shade of oyster silk.
The Melody collection includes a delicate yet fully supportive balcony bra with a full lace cup, lined with soft mesh and supported with an inner side sling, finished with stretch silk underband and shoulder straps; matching brief and thong featuring a delicate inlay of vintage-inspired lace framed by a stretch silk satin; a classic short with lace edging to the side and a softly elasticated waist decorated with a fixed tie, tipped with lace.
Other styles include the slip and camisole, with decorative tapered shoulder straps that fall elegantly down the back, crisscrossed for dramatic effect, and a diamond shape at the centre front enhanced with a mirror of lace cascading over the neckline; and a robe featuring the diamond design which echoes throughout the pieces in this collection, falling over the shoulder and mirrored with lace flowing across the sleeve opening.
Designed as an everyday essential, Anais is a perennial favourite with Emma Harris’ customers. This understated collection of sleepwear is available for SS22 in a new vintage shade of dusky pink silk delicately embellished with a flash of lace.
The Anais collection features elegant camisole and slips with silk cut on the bias to give a figure-skimming fit, spaghetti shoulder straps and an overlay of lace at the centre; soft silk shorts framed with lace at the leg openings; pyjama top and pyjama trousers decorated with a band of lace and mother of pearl buttons; and a pillowcase with a band of lace, which repeats through this collection.
