ROICA™ by Asahi Kasei, an international leader in sustainable premium stretch fibres, has been invited to showcase at Filo, the international fair of orthogonal weaving yarns for clothing and furnishings, circular knitwear and technical textiles, in the brand-new section created to present sustainable fibres. ROICA™ will feature its main innovations and four key pieces of the modern and sustainable contemporary wardrobe applied to fashion, sportswear, legwear and underwear. This is for sure an interesting opportunity for ROICA™, which has recently celebrated its 50th anniversary coincided with the unveiling of its brand-new visual identity conveying smart values for the contemporary consumer wardrobe.
From the “Activation” world, ROICA™ will bring to Filo the first sustainable biking uniform created for SCOTT Racing Team by its historical partners for the uniform: Rosti, Sitip and ROICA™ by Asahi Kasei. A partnership born in 2019 and celebrated at Ispo 2020, which has brought together leading companies for responsible innovation: Rosti for the style and manufacturing, Sitip for technical fabrics made from GRS certified recycled yarns including ROICA™ EF.
For the “Essentials” world, ROICA™ will showcase the Aurora line by Wolford, which holds two certificates Cradle to Cradle Certified™ at GOLD Level both for the biological and the technical cycles. All products contain ROICA™ V550 either in blend with the ECONYL® regenerated nylon yarn made by Aquafil or Lenzing Modal®, and infinito® by Lauffenmühle.
For the “Style#Fit” world, ROICA™ will showcase G-Star’s Jeans made with the Cradle to Cradle Certified® Gold denim fabric, whose chemistry presents zero risk for people and planet. The collection features a 2% premium stretch fibre ROICA™ V550. For the “Legwear” world, ROICA™ will present the brand-new Green Collection by Sarah Borghi of premium Italian socks and hosiery featuring features Amni Soul Eco®, the world’s first biodegradable in anaerobic conditions polyamide 6.6 yarn that degrades in around 5 years after disposing of in a landfill, developed by SOLVAY and produced and distributed by FULGAR and ROICA™ V550.
The brand will also be the protagonist of “The contemporary consumer: Stretch your imagination with ROICA™ by Asahi Kasei smart innovation” speech on September 30th. Filo will give ROICA™ a unique occasion to show the visitors the extraordinary performances of its sustainable and certified yarns created through a thoughtful production and how it is done respecting the environment and people.
