And it is goodbye to…Tom Kavanagh, Debbie Axtell and Carole Day who are retiring from Naturana UK at end of April 2021
Stephanie Dolker of Naturana commented: “The time has come to say good bye to them after having represented Naturana for such a long time – Tom 9 years, Carole 15 years and Debbie an impressive 27 years! All three of them are much loved by customers and the global Naturana team alike. When Tom joined Naturana in 2012 he brought a wealth of experience from the sports sector and wasted no time building up Naturana in the UK. Supported by the team he created, he passionately grew our business in the UK and increased visibility of the brand. Naturana Ltd. would not be the same it is now without these three. We owe them a huge debt of gratitude and wish them all the very best for their future!”
Tom Kavanagh commented to Underlines: “I am officially retiring after 35 + years working in the sports trade at Speedo and Puma and nearly 9 years in the lingerie industry at Naturana. My partner and I (June) want to spend more time at our place in Spain (once restrictions are lifted) so I have decided to “hang up my boots” and let the young ones take over. Naturana have been absolutely fantastic in supporting my decision and I have loved every minute of my eight and a half years at Naturana, we have made lots of very positive changes and raised the brand profile significantly during this time. The Naturana team have always supported my plans and ideas and it has been an absolute pleasure working with them. Head office in Germany have been fantastic in supporting my decision and I would like to personally thank the Dolker family for all their fantastic support. I will miss them all!”
From May 2021 local presence will continue to be important to the company comments Stephanie. “Centralisation and synergies are at the core of the global strategy for Naturana – as well as becoming more sustainable and modernising the brand. Local presence has always been important for us and Tanya Bulloch will head the UK team, Richard Potter and Stephen Duncan representing Naturana in the UK and Ireland. The UK market, in spite of its idiosyncrasy, differences in bra sizes and now Brexit, has always been a hugely important market for us and we are optimistic about our future in the UK. It would after all, be quite unfair if only the women of continental Europe had the pleasure of wearing our product!”
