Luxury French underwear atelier Louisa Bracq presents their forthcoming collection, entitled ‘In a Melancholy Mood’. Creative director Matthew Bracq draws his latest collection inspiration from the sounds and soul of music, falling back in time to the decadent and energised era of rock and roll. Looking at great icons of rock superstardom, from the undeniable David Bowie to Mick Jagger, Blondie, Beth Dito, Patti Smith and Janis Joplin. The latest collections draw inspiration from their souls, their energy and celebrates a range of exciting underwear women will want to embrace, ignite and rock out in!
Highlights from the Autumn/Winter 2021 collection include the Ziggy Collection, a faithful reference to David Bowie’s aesthetics. With its embroidered two-colour herringbone on a black background, this line with its very visual graphics is also available in a single-colour version that will be aimed at less audacious women who feel more comfortable in this version.
The Superstar Collection is a new creation born under a lucky star. Faithful to the rock spirit of this season, this embroidery with the stars superimposed brings a graphic, geometrical look to the various styles of the range. Last but not least, the Angie Collection, named after the famous Rolling Stones song, is a line printed with an abstract pattern reminiscent of the prints of the 70s with psychedelic collage effect. AW21 will also see the return of popular continuity styles which will include Julia, Paco, Elise and Divine in a range of new colour updates reflective of the season.
