2021 marks the 70th anniversary of Fantasie, a brand driven by a passion to create lingerie that offers both an incomparable fit and support, whilst elevating the everyday lingerie experience. Speaking to Underlines about the challenges brought by the pandemic, Charlie Austin, Head of Fantasie, said: “Fantasie is now 70 years strong, has a really loyal customer and consumer base and a solid continuity collection, so we wanted to keep providing our Fantasie favourites that we know are loved. With everything in the pandemic being so challenging and uncertain, I like to think that our ranges provided support in more ways than one. Everyday consumers could put on their favourite range – be it Illusion, Fusion, Smoothease or Ana and feel a sense of security, normality and support.”
“Our homes have also really now become our sanctuary and with so many women thinking about wellness and self-care, this definitely inspired some of thinking for our new designs,” he adds. “We’ve developed some beautiful wire free options and styles which ooze comfort, so you’ll find lots of soft fabrics as well as that all important perfect fit factor. For AW21 we’ve got the new Envisage bralette – I think this will be loved for all those that want a soft cup style – and we’re introducing our Lace Ease range, something which is elegant and incredibly comfortable. I’m also really excited for everyone to see what we have in store next as we’re continuing these themes further.”
