Leading lingerie manufacturer Wacoal Europe, which is headquartered in Northamptonshire in the East Midlands, has revealed it has donated to a number of NHS hospitals during the pandemic, including Kettering General Hospital, Northampton General Hospital, Leicester Hospital Trust and Nottingham Queen’s Medical Centre.
Wacoal Europe has donated thousands of its briefs which will be distributed to staff who are working long shifts, along with patients whom often require new personal items due to the duration of their stay and strict visitations in place.
Laura Simon, Wacoal Europe’s Chief Marketing Officer said: “We are so grateful to the NHS for everything they are doing at the moment so we’re really glad we can support our local hospitals with these donations.”
