The Graduate Fashion Foundation charity is delighted to announce that from 4th – 8th November 2019 a series of national UK masterclasses were held in partnership with Ralph Lauren, and two international events are also planned in Italy. In total 18 Graduate Fashion Week UK member universities had the opportunity to benefit from the advice and information presented from Ralph Lauren and the GFF teams.
These extra-curricular professional talks provide much needed preparation for the undergraduates and key tips on life after graduation, helping them make the most of the opportunities on offer, as well as the best way to present their work, speak to recruiters and secure jobs. Alongside these masterclasses, representatives of Ralph Lauren have interviewed second year students for paid opportunities at the company’s New York headquarters next summer.
Hilary Alexander OBE, President of Graduate Fashion Week comments: “We are thrilled to continue our relationship with Ralph Lauren on our 2019 Graduate Fashion Foundation National Masterclasses. Each year GFF sees exciting and innovative fashion talent take over the catwalk and exhibitions at our main Graduate Fashion Week event. We look forward to sharing industry knowledge and advice with undergraduates from 18 of the charity’s member universities as we continue to support them entering the fashion industry.”
