Heritage sock brand Pantherella rebrands for the first time ever

by Underlines

Luxury heritage sock brand Pantherella is revealing a fresh new look for 2019, bringing a modern and bold twist to the company’s logo, with sustainability in mind. In its remarkable 82-year history, this is the first time Pantherella has rebranded, and the changes will be launched at Pitti Uomo in January before they are rolled out across all POS.

Portrayed on the new packaging, the script writing is much clearer and easier for consumers to spot when shopping and also has a more luxurious finish to complement the product – the men’s Classic, Tailored and Vintage collections packaging is black with a crisp white gloss, while the Luxury collection is finished with a gold gloss foil for added opulence, and the Modern+ collection is white with a silver holographic foil for a more contemporary feel. The latest swing tags are made from card containing 60% reclaimed coffee cup fibres, produced at the James Cropper Mill in the Lake District.

Justin Hall, Managing Director at Pantherella said: “When visiting stores such as Liberty London and Selfridges, we noticed an opportunity to make our socks stand our more that required new design and marketing approaches to better engage with our consumer. As an established British, heritage brand, we always have to be cautious when updating in any way, so we’re pleased Michael made the process so easy and are very happy with the results.”
