Splash in Paris reports good results

by Underlines

Over a sweltering weekend the south bank of the Seine was enlivened by swim and resortwear trade show, Splash, with  a truly international brand showing. With its dateline in June, it is timed perfectly for discerning buyers and shop owners to take advantage of an early look at 2019 collections and the weather gave the event that early holiday feeling.

“The 3rd year of Splash Paris was a huge success. The 3-day event has grown immensely from its first year to a luxury trade show that attracts brands and buyers from around the world.  This year, over 1000 people attended & around 130 brands exhibited in the annual show that takes place in the heart of the French capital just a few metres from the River Seine.

Splash Paris 2018 was held over 2 tents, with a large cafe & seating area and additional activities including a braid bar & seated massage.  Champagne was served in the evenings on Saturday and Sunday which everyone enjoyed and brought an even more relaxed vibe to the show. Buyers were mainly from luxury international department stores (swim/accessories and some R-T-W buyers), concept stores and premium level multi-brand independents.  Also a larger number of smaller independents compared to last year,” commented Alex Lyles, Co-Founder Splash Paris.
