Reflecting the shows commitment to small fashion businesses, LondonEdge will introduce ‘The Makers and Designers’ area new for 11th and 12th February, aiming to give young brands a platform to showcase their work in a wholesale environment and increase their visibility. Already attracting 20 new designers to date, Makers and Designers is set to be one of the fastest growing areas to date with yet more lining-up to take their place at LondonEdge September 2018.
Returning to Islington’s BDC for their SS18 show, LondonEdge is the planet’s only commercial platform for authentic, subculture fashion brands today. This February will be the 37th exhibition in the series of these iconic shows that track and record the changes in youth culture, music, fashion, lifestyles and body art. Managing Director of LondonEdge, Carole Hunter is excited for the coming show: “LondonEdge is one of the most vibrant networking opportunity on the fashion calendar and we’re extremely proud to be unveiling the first Makers & Designers area this season. The opportunity for business people to meet colleagues, forge relationships and share experiences in real life is one that pays great dividends. We’re delighted to help these businesses make this a reality.”
