Centre for Fashion Enterprise, based at London College of Fashion, announce their first Manufacturers Trade Show in East London. This one-day event, taking place on Tuesday 11th July at York Hall in Bethnal Green, aims to introduce fashion enterprises to manufacturers who can produce smaller scale quantities in order to progress their businesses.
The Manufacturers Trade Show aims to support the new eco-system emerging in London, recognising the convergence of fashion and technology SMEs. The event will happen twice yearly and confirmed exhibitors for its first edition include Fashion Enter, Zedonk, Offset Warehouse, Source Studio, Plus Samples Ltd and Making for Change.
Judith Tolley, Head of the CFE commented: “London is known for nurturing the most innovative and authentic creative fashion designers and emerging businesses but without manufacturers to support and work with them their creative talent and growing businesses would not be realised. Our vision is to connect business with manufacturers with a view to developing long term working relationships.”
The CFE is London’s pioneering fashion and fashion tech business incubator, whose purpose is to fast-track designers and entrepreneurs into successful businesses by working with designers and creative entrepreneurs to transform talent and ideas into businesses, providing support programmes to facilitate their USP, vision and innovation.
