32 hours of fashion, fun and full on anarchy hit Islington at the Business Design Centre from 12th-13th February as LondonEdge delivered a bevvy of exhibitors, catwalk shows and an unforgettable after-show party. Created by exhibition professional Carole Hunter and jewellery specialist Sandra Philipson in 2000, LondonEdge was ready to celebrate their 35th edition settling into their new home at the Business Design Centre.
In true LondonEdge spirit, the show was kicked off with an influencer’s event held at the press office for high profile fashion and lifestyle influencers, media personalities and models with a combined reach of over 2,000,000 followers. The after show party took guests back in time to the show’s gothic roots, with over 400 exhibitors, buyers, influencers and industry guests attending the team’s anti-Valentine’s spectacular.
For LondonEdge #35 the team launched the LondonEdge Awards to celebrate their brands and exhibitors in all areas of the industry. LondonEdge devised a set of accolades to congratulate their efforts across the board from newcomers to established heritage brands, judged by members of the press, key influencers and top buyers in their field. With great footfall, lots of business transactions and a stunning exhibition here’s what Director Carole Hunter had to say about show number 35:
““We’ve loved every minute of this show and, so it seems, did our buyers, exhibitors, press and social media influencers. We’ve had a ball. Buyers from 37 countries, attendance up against the last 3 shows and lots of business signed at the show, we’re a very happy crew. It’s onwards and upwards.”
