Lingerie brand Bluebella has unveiled the sequel to what was dubbed the world’s most risqué piece of lingerie, the All Wrapped Up Body Bow, which stunned the fashion world last year. Despite splitting opinions the £16 design was a global hit, and Bluebella was keen to repeat its success with a brand new lingerie piece created with the same concept.
Bluebella chief executive Emily Bendell said: “We were a little bowled over by the success of the All Wrapped Up Body Bow. We got record sales from a lingerie piece that half the fashion world hated – and the other half thought was funny, cheeky and outrageous. We wanted to repeat the success with a bold new design which retains all the fun elements of the All Wrapped Up Body Bow but more closely resembles Bluebella’s modern design ethos.”
The new Alyssa bra and brief in delicate black chiffon allows wearers to tie or untie as they choose for a sexy Valentine’s Day treat. The ties can be playfully worked in a variety of ways, giving full or minimal coverage, and the matching brief features a softly tied fixed bow. “It is a fun way for couples to stylishly bring burlesque to the bedroom because the bra unties so easily and can be taken off very sexily,” says Bendell.
