Hyosung, the largest spandex producer in the world, will launch new a odour neutralising elastane at Mode City in Lyon. The latest addition to the creora® speciality product portfolio, creora® Fresh is set to revolutionise the market as brands want to move away from antimicrobial chemicals next to the skin.
“In response to the continued growth of sports underwear, we have developed creora® Fresh using our proprietary ingredient technology to chemically bond to substances that cause body odour and to neutralise them. creora®Fresh has been demonstrated with nylon and polyester fibres to last longer than traditional antimicrobial finishes,” said Hyosung President Yong Seup Kim.
Some of the fabrics and 2018 trends promoted by Hyosung include creora® Color+ and creora® Black (dyeable elastane for deeper colours without grin through), MIPAN Aqua X (cool touch and moisture management nylon) and MIPAN super micro denier nylon for soft sensual fabrics.
