The new Kunert Blue collection, available from January 2017, aims to combine high quality with an awareness of trends and a sense of responsibility towards the environment. The innovative collection has already been presented at the Green Tec Awards in Munich on 29 May and includes three sheer tights in 15 DEN, 30 DEN and a fashionable net version, offered in up to eight different shades.
More than simply green thinking, ‘green actions’ are at the core of the collection and the hosiery specialist relied on strong partners throughout the whole process. For example, the yarn used from ECONYL® is 100% made out of recycled waste such as fishing nets and other nylon recyclable materials; the paper is produced by Gmund, the first paper factory to establish a unique environmental standard, as well as the climate-neutral printing technique used on the packaging by Schöler Druck & Medien.
