The Holiday 2015 season sees the launch of the first L’Agent by Agent Provocateur swimwear collection, with enough scintillating pieces to get young hearts racing from Mykonos to Malibu. The collaboration between L’Agent and Penelope and Monica Cruz was inspired by L.A. skater girls and delivers eye-popping swimwear in three themes:
California Cool, inspired by Venice Beach in the 70s with its youthful exuberance and long blonde locks left to stream in the warm breeze. Highlights from the range are the Agata bandeau, ultra skimpy Eleena with adjustable straps and Adrina, a halter style which lifts and flatters the cleavage and also boasts a super high-cut leg.
Miami Vice: fast cars, swaying palms and tangerine sunset dreams. Nothing sets off a deep tan like a electrifying tropical print, highlighted in the Avril swimsuit by its strappy details and cheeky cut-outs. Matching cover-ups leave just the right amount left to the imagination and pair perfectly with Sevilla, the gold lamé triangle bikini that won Penelope’s heart.
Swimwear isn’t just for ocean dips and no other place in the world encapsulates that idea better that Vegas. The Sin City inspired the third L’Agent swim story, which glitters with lurex, lamé, and nocturnal possibilities as seen in the ultra-deep V plunge and almost-naked back Tayler swimsuit, a Vegas showgirl’s dream. Sensual ruching and bondage straps highlight the Alexie, bringing to mind the 70s sex appeal and promising to keep the party going long after the sun has set.
