London-based pop singer Stacey Jackson, who shot to fame when she collaborated with Snoop Dogg on the hit single ‘Live It Up’, is set to launch her first active range.
STAE FIT is a hypo-allergenic and ultra absorbent womenswear collection, born from the desire to provide a solution for an unspoken skin condition affecting more and more women as trends to wear active wear as leisure wear means a large number of gym-goers remain in their damp sportswear for long periods of time, leading to skin irritations. When Stacey was first diagnosed with ‘brash’, a term she coined for her persistent breast rash, it set her thinking about how others were suffering in silence.
Stacey has worked closely with sports fabric technologists and designers to develop the collection, which launches with the patent-pending STAE FIT sports top with built-in support bra, designed to wick away moisture with its absorbent silver anti-bacterial fabric and no-odor technology. The range also includes capri and long workout leggings made with the same absorbent fabric with compression panelling.
