Last week marked the re-launch of online ethical fashion boutique Fashion ComPassion and to celebrate in style, BuyMyWardrobe played host to the official launch party.
The new website focuses on selling unique, hand crafted, sustainable accessories from designers all around the world. Fashion ComPassion stays true to its mission “luxury with purpose” by showcasing over 85 accessories from 15 brands using the highest quality materials handcrafted into unique pieces of art by women artisans from 15 to 20 small communities around the world. The site shows provenance and transparency behind each product by the Sustainability Stamps, such as ‘eco-friendly’ ‘fairly traded’ or ‘locally produced’, which aim to make it easier for consumers to see the ethical and sustainable credentials of their purchases.
With handbags available from the online boutique out on display, lucky event attendees were able to see first-hand the beautiful accessories made by designers from across the globe. At the launch event 10% of sales from the evening went to support Women For Women International projects around the world.
