Last month a group of students from De Montfort University spent an afternoon visiting the head office and factories of Pamela Mann. The trip included a tour of the facilities and a cash prize presentation for two students who won a design competition arranged between Pamela Mann and the university.
Students had been asked to design a new product or packaging for Pamela Mann based on their research of the company and where it sat in the hosiery market. Lisa Ly won the prize for the best product and Sarah Elliott’s innovative design was the top pick in the packaging category.
Speaking for Pamela Mann, Rob Morris, managing director said “We really value our relationship with De Montfort University, the standard of entries from the students for our competition was incredibly high and it was very hard to narrow down the finalists. We are looking forward to seeing Lisa’s design go on sale in the very near future.”
