The biggest international fashion trade show in Europe will take place in Paris on 6-9 July 2013 at Parc Des Expositions, Porte de Versailles. Spring/Summer 2014 collections from 2000 ready-to-wear and accessories brands will be presented during the show, which will also run a competition for young international graduates for the fourth season in a row, result of a collaboration with Arts Thread.
The graduate contest The Future of Fashion will help launch the careers of 10 designers from international fashion schools, who will be handpicked from womenswear, menswear, accessories, jewellery and footwear. Graduates from over 50 leading colleges were invited to take part in the competition and have until May 13th to upload their portfolios on the Arts Thread website, which will then be judged by a panel of high profile fashion professionals from all over the world and the press. The 10 winners will then be revealed on May 29th and go on to showcase their most recent collection at Who’s Next Prêt-à-Porter Paris from July 6th-9th.
