New sustainable menswear line Cock & Bull launches in the UK

Cock & Bull

A brand new organic and ethical menswear line officially launched its first underwear range this week. East London brand Cock & Bull Menswear produces entirely in the UK from sustainable fabrics and yarns and manufactures short run and limited edition menswear staples that can be depended upon season after season.

Believed to be the first organic underwear for men made entirely in the UK, the line is a 14-piece collection of boxer briefs in ‘short john’ and ‘mini john’ styles, all priced at £22. Sustainable style is the brand’s guiding philosophy, from the soft 196 gsm organic cotton used on the pieces, low impact and vegetable colouring, as well as biodegradable bags and FSC certified products for its packaging.

Designer A.A. Lindsay states: ‘UK manufacturing is a point of pride in who we are and where we live; it is a part of keeping our supply chain close and being able to confidently shout about the quality of Cock & Bull garments. It supports people who we come into contact with, their family, our community and our economy. And it also positively affects our carbon footprint.’

The pieces are available in a range of colours including natural, sage, ash, Persian, plumb and unbleached, printed or plain. Cock & Bull Menswear also produces a limited edition range of tweed caps made in Yorkshire and waistcoats made to order in London.
